OK - Those forks get yanked and put on a BIG bike soon as you find one.
WTF on the tires? STOP riding the way back machine and finding this stuff. Those are excellent.

W0W.
Original decals? I'm guessing so. The Eddy King model, at least the ones Eddy raced always used the earlier big bike/lightning decals with the yellow [not red] wheels head tube decal, yours looks faded yellow to white.
I'm just gonna send you all my old addicks sprockets, whenever I try them on something they look bunk, yours are always perfectly matched to the build.
early x-caliber...are their two models?
sick tires.
Randy..
keys to Addicks sprockets etiquette:
1. match the sprocket to either the tires (black) or the rims. gives ya a nice clean color line across the length of the bike.
2. use 'em with aluminum 3-peice cranks only. the colored Addicks spiders make the look too busy.
i don't know anything about Torkers or this frame beyond what Sandy told me about it. It came out of his shop, passing thru CruiserKing quite some time ago. it's been squirreled away for a nice day. Sandy told me it was all original, including the Wheels n Things shop sticker on the seatmast. The decals are original white/yellow/black. no fading.
re: XCalibers..
another member was kind enough to point out once that '70s clamps only have one logo facing front, '80s clamps have the wraparound logos.

"Stuff lying around", whaatt!!. All I have lying around are Taiwan knock-offs. Cant imagine the stuff u have stashed, all alphabetised in a big vault.
A Addicks clamps, Addicks cranks, Addicks spiders, Addicks sprockets, Addicks stem....

very nice build, tim, as always.
here is te 2, and it is different from te 1 in that it sports a full bb with red decals. we need eddy to chime in and shed some light on his early frames:
wow! how cool is dunphy's frame! i'm a little jealous.
i see what randy is talking about the red decals. i can't vouch for the white one on my frame beyond it was there when i got it, and Sandy didn't say anything about it not being original when i sent him pics.
maybe John Johnson can speak to Eddy for us!

But that was a year after he had been with Torker.
Note he was already running the Torker stem.
Cool bike TIM. I'll hold your beer for a little while.

TIM,
I was just joking around with you.
His bikes didn't really change much from what I remember.
If you raced in San Diego in the late 70's and early 80's, you pretty much knew every part of Eddy King's bike.
I do have a pic of Eddy when he first got on Torker. I'll try to find it.
