It's a Shot-gun, is in really great original shape. Components are Dia-Compe brakes, Snake-bellies, SR everything, and 7x's w/Sunshine(high flange). I had another low dollar Cycle-pro from the same era...this one seems more of a mid-grade version...was there another that was better than this? was this their top-of-the-line bike?? Thanks for the input, Chris

A well kept survivor! Well done!

I think the Bonzai was their top line bike! That is a real nice Cycle Pro though!! I've been building a late 70's Cycle Pro(and I'm almost done!) for a while....so
i'm a big fan.

nice ride!

What kind of CyclePro are you building hemidart1 ??
I'm 1/2 way through my Foiler build...
It's been quite hard to find any info about em

Depending on what year you are talking about...
But in the late 70's i've been told that this was CyclePro's top of the line 20".. It's the same as a Race-Inc except for the top tube....

I'm building one of these...not a later over seas built "fish gill" but the earlier, really nice light race frame made in the States.

I'm doing the most period correct build I've ever done ...that's why I've been at it for over 12 months!

i cant decide if i like the shotgun or the foiler better. the folier's a way better bike, but the shotgun is what one of the kids from my neighborhood would have had. i love the yellow shotgun seat, which my be their best product, (though i bet a million people would argue snakebellies & maybe they are right). i had a chrome & blue macho II. It was a complete tank. i now have a sweet all original mighty blitz pit bike w/ skyways. about 5 years ago there was a yard sale a couple streets down that had a CP for sale. i remember whose it was & everything, he was a few years older then I. i wasnt collecting back then so i just kept driving. what a dumb***!
