Have you got a pic of it? The very late 80's Goose's had a wishbone design and one of the other models had the wishbone that went through the seat tube and onto the underside of the top tube.

Welcome fellow Gooser!!
It looks just like THESE LOOPTAILS in a different thread including my 85 Expert. What is the first numder after the letter(s) in the serial number? Usually that is the year of manufacture. Mine for instance is M5 (1985) It is entirely possible it was a "leftover" that had later model decals put on it. Are you sure the decal doesn't read 1983?

mogas, I scored a mongoose today. the serial # is m6ca1067 . It looks pretty rough with the rattle can paint job. It does have a sweet DK stem on it. I will send you a few pics if you want.

Not much help to ya now but i would have sold the Mini before i sold the cruiser.. Is there anyway that you can get it back???
M-1s were an entry-level bike (or maybe 1 step up). 1988 looks about right. it still has the made in taiwan sticker on it, so i'd assume the other decals are original, too. not the right parts, though.
