I just put a new pair of Z Mags on my Quad and went out jumping today and I cracked my front wheel. It is not major, but could get worse. Now, it just makes a cracking noise when I land, so it needs to be replaced. I bought them off ebay from the Skyway distribution. Any ideas if I can get it replaced? Will I need to go straight to ACS? Let me know if anyone has had something similar happen. I don't remember cracking a Mag when I was younger and actually tough on my bikes.

Unfortunately, ACS will not cover that under warranty. Jumping down stairs would constitute as "abuse", and not "normal riding conditions".
I have sent you an email about replacement options...............

Did I miss the mention of stairs in this guy's posting? Must have. Either way, that is LAME that ACS won't cover some guys breakage from just jumping on them a bit. What the hel! are these intended for if not a bit of jumping? W-E-A-K.

Keithandstef -
Acuda purchased the wheels from me on ebay. He told me that he jumped down 4 stairs in an email that he sent me. It was not posted here, though.
ACS and Skyway both make mag wheels, but I have to say that Skyway definitely backs up their product 100%, and does make a far superior product.
I am not totally certain how ACS will handle this, but I suspect that they with treat this as an "abuse" case.......

I hear ya Coloredtuffs. Maybe he should have said it happened while rolling gingerly over a small speed bump. Honest guy though. That's cool, and SHOULD count for something at ACS. We'll see.

No rolling gingerly for that Quadangle. It was built to see how hurt I can get on it. Thanks Ed for getting back to me so soon. I went ahead and bought some Graphite Tuffs. Those bad boys will hold up. I still can't believe I broke a Mag jumping off a small 4 foot drop. Maybe there was a flaw in them. That's life.

You can get the best parts in the world and it will brake if you beat it to death in some ways
