Got this for $5.00. Piece of junk for sure:
Hmm..Flanged Tuff II on the rear with a regular TUFF II on the front? Pretty new, but dirty Cheng Shins?
Cool stem, desirable (for me) grips and maybe even some cool bars (I'm frreestyle ignorant)
little treasures everywhere i guess. Which reminds me, i have to bury the rest of the bike...

My buddy's kid could use the guts to that rear Tuff for his `81 Mongoose-want to get rid of it?

Never mind, I looked at the picture & the wheel again and his hub is totally different, even though it's flanged.

Huntwilde grips for my current project. How do I tell if they are real GT bars? The paint is coming off the mags just fine and the color is coming out
Thanks

agentheinz

No knurl on old school GT bars. Cross between Haro (knurl) and GT (shape). Frame looks kinda like those Hanter frames that were around in the late 80s.

My guess is Hanter as well. Or Traker, or possibly Western Auto Stores.

....Hmmm, something tells me he could just leave it there, and it wouldn't even interrupt the flow of the neighbors' conversations....
Adults who ride around on 20 inch BMX bikes wearing a badge and a uniform, bunnyhopping the hood of a police car at 3 am in the driveway lends itself to plenty of conversation.....(Ok so I made that up)
They probably think he has the key to the stolen property locker.......lol
Actually, he probably does, ....5 bucks huh? 5 bucks and a donut, for a few minutes alone in the lockup??? lol
