Hi could anyone tell me how the new quadangle stacks up against the old school quad, is there a major difference in the geometry, wheelbase etc & are the new quadangles worth havin or not ?? thanks

They share little but a name. When I saw there were new ones, I went out to pick one up. Upon seeing the hi-ten Taiwanese single downtube frame with low-end parts, I skipped it. I understand there are higher end versions, but the one I saw was not much better than a department store bike (although in it's defense, it was less than $200).

I think all of the Quads are different, I own one of the last US made "alloy" frames, and its my favorite bike to cruise on. Its real comfortable for a big guy, built like a tank, and the looks are unmatched by any of the modern bikes.
Im not sure about the new Fuji SEs though, I just dont know to much about them, but I have heard good things. Its cool that we can still buy new Quads, PKs, and Flovals !!! Id check the Team models on these bikes, I see them all of the time on ebay for less than $400 for new completes.

I have a nos poilshed frame for sale like Spicolli's above.

Best of the last US made frames, imo.

I have a '99 Quad also.
Great bikes.
I'm not sure I think the new ones have the same geometry.
It is pretty cool that the bikes are available again.
I went racing a few weeks ago and it was cool to see a few mini rippers and Flovals there.

In our 2005 and 2006 lines, we have only the freestyle version of the Quad available. The entry level bike's frame is Hi-Ten, mid level bike's frame is Cr-Mo/Hi-Ten, and the Pro Level is 100% Cr-Mo. But like I said, those are freestyle bikes.

Our '07 line will have the aluminum Quad race frame (frame only, no complete bike) back in the line-up. And with a 21.5 top tube for all you big old-school dudes out there...

I've had both new and old and I would say, go with the old. I am looking for an 85 to 90 frame myself.

This is the last one I built.

I raced my '04 team Quad last year and it held up fine to my 6' 200 plus pounds. My frame looks, as near as I can tell, exactly like the white frame pictured above.
