Anyone have any suggestions on restoring or cleaning a pair of RED mongoose grips?
Can you soak them in Rite Dye to restore the color?
Thanks

probably.. are they pink now?
If they are, then I think Red or black would be your only RIT options. (use plenty of salt along with the dye) there should be plenty of threads on dying plastic and rubber pieces in the tech and restoration area..

Yeah I just tried soaking them in bleach and they came out much cleaner but PINK...... I'll do the Rite Dye thing next......
Do you boil them?

yeah, with salt and rit dye, you don't have to boil though.. super hot water works too..
I'd let them simmer for a couple of hours, and then take them off the heat and let them sit in the water for an hour or so.
Then rinse them off in cold water and dry them off and see how they turned out.
If not dark enough, lather rinse repeat..
