From reading this post about the differences between the B.S. Dirt Skirt and the S.S.T. Dirt Skirt ®, the B.S. was first. Does anyone remember when the Dirt Skirt first came about?

I agree. I think the first I saw them was in 82 or 83.

I remember people having a few issues with them. I dont remember exactly what though. Sometimes they sat too high and rubbed, sometimes too low and held water and sand in them. Something like that.

You would say "those are COOL!", and then hear the owner say, "Yeah, but...."

82 was the first year that I remember seeing them. I also remember the fact that they indeed did look real cool , but......
