This was just completed. I do have some yellow comp3 tires coming for it but I put on the red just to ride it. critiques? Yeah , I need to trim my brake cable.

I love the color flow, very sweet!! Its the RM-1. Only thing I would change is bring the bars back little and get either gold or red pedals instead of the silver. Great build man!!

Thanks pk ripped. Im going to bring the bars back. Felt a little squirely riding it. Working on getting some red or gold pedals too. But I just love the ACS stoker pedals and wanted to put them on something.

Serving Suggestion: Take the pedals apart and have them powder-coated.

Very nice!
Now, if it was mine, I'd change the tires, seat and grips to black. The yellow seems to be fighting what could be a very sweet color combo.
Good work nonetheless!

man i wish i had a RM. it sucks spending all your money on racing and not collecting.
i would put a straight post on it and move the bars back.
very tight.

well thanks for all the suggestions. The bars are back now. And looks like I will have to throw down on some gold or red DXs. Couldnt paint the acs pedals that would be like painting over mahoghany. Got to keep the yellow Im diggin it. I ride all my bikes and a layed back seatpost is the only way to go for me. Thanks for the kind words Brian. Means alot coming from a Race Inc. fanatic.

beeeaautiful hubs! Hey, are those my decals?! If so that is so cool--thats the first time I've seen the gold one's on a bike. I was hoping someone would put them on a red frame. I've always wanted to do a Race Inc in his color combo--it's so incredibly 80s. I love this build. Really nice.

Mushkow, those decals are perfect aren't they? Nic Johnson is the man. That all started when I bought my first RM last year which was white with gold decals. I had bought a few sets of Nic's other decals and emailed him to see if he could do the gold. I peeled a fork decal off and mailed it to him. He matched the pantone color and had these perfect gold decals produced. Awesome job. Of coarse, I sold the frame before ever repainting it and decaling it because I ended up with two perfect RM's, but I still want to do something to use the gold decals.

Thanks guys . Alex that is how I got the bars. And they were NOS. Im thinking I could strip the factory finish off them and polish them to a mirror finish. Or I could try to find a close matching touch up paint. Brian I love colored tires too. I guess I should learn some show tunes.

I was only kidding about polishing the bars. But I will try to touch it up. Looking at the pics of my bike it does seem I have the ghetto Chicago forward sweep to my bars. Ill move them back a little.

That is a killer Race Inc. Mitch, both versions!!! Red and gold is a sweet combo! Nics' decals do Rock! I got a couple of the custom color sets he did, awesome quality!
Funny thing though Mitch. With the laid back post, laid back seat tube angle and Chicago bars set-up, I don't recall you having monkey arms? LOL!
