I got these on the Bassett 20 I picked up, trying to figure out exactly what they are. I would say Robinson, but, they are not as "loopy" on the bend as traditional Robinson forks, and the end of the legs are not capped....any ideas??

I'd say Robinson after GT took ownership. They are probably Taiwan. Maybe 85/86.

Im no expert on these kind of things so i am probably wrong but dont they look kind of like VDC Changa forks? Im sure im way off but that was just my first thought.
Greg_Hanna
VDC forks have the axle slot cut at a forward angle.
hutcholdschool
Greg you are correct i didnt think of that also VDC forks would have a longer steer tube and the ends are capped off. Sorry about that NFR i was just guessing.
BumpyTrumpet
If it were VDC would it be a 5" headtube?

they look an awful lot like a pair of forks I used in `85. I believe they were Odessey. A small Nor-Cal co. from the early `80s.
