I recently got a new cell phone number and sent out a mass email from my address book to inform people of my new number. An old BMX friend of mine that works for one of the largest bicycle companies in the country replied and his phone # was in his signature so I gave him a call this morning. I'll give a small hint. Ken Pliska and Ben Or know this former Bike Gallery employee well.
Anyway, we were catching up on things and I mentioned Vintage BMX and we started talking about how much all those old JMC's and Pattersons and Hutch Hollywoods we had are worth now. I asked him if he still had his lavender Hollywood and he said no. However he said he still has his Andy Patterson with the Bottema forks on it. He doesn't do the eBay thing and so I was telling him that it would probably receive some high bids. I also told him that JMC's, Hutch's and SE's are fetching big bucks. He was like "SE's huh." Then he said he has a couple of NOS PK Ripper frames and forks still in their boxes. Nice.
