First son is now 7. Time to hook him on BMX. I've been building a bike for him using ebay. But tonight I decided to dig out my old Mongoose because the frames I've bought are just a little too big for him. Mongoose fits perfectly...well I need to lose the GT angled post and swap on some lighter wheels. Have lots of cleaning to do, the frame is nickel and has oxidated a bit over the years.

Welcome here.
Good on you for keeping your bike. That is a great treasure to pass down.
My two daughters both ride vintage Predators. One I built. One the oldest built herself. They both think it is cool to have oldschool bikes,
I'm hunting down a mini frame for my 5yr old boy so he can have a vintage ride too.
I'll take my coffee black, please
PS - we like to look at pictures

Welcome, good to hear someone else building an oldskool for the kids. I built an old ebay mongoose but decided to keep it for myself. I gave my 5 year old my old Hutch windstyler that I put back together. All he`s gotta do now is grow into it.

Cream?
No thanks, I take it black.
Like my men...
The two kids on Airplane is one of the funniest movie scenes in cinema history. I've seen it a thousand times and it still cracks me up.
