Did that fall out of Jeff's pocket too!? How on earth do you manage to.......nevermind, lol.

"My" friend Jeff was just visiting "me" tonight, and nothing fell out of his pockets, he just stuffed stuff into his. lol

He's in league with the devil, I've said it for years.

Phenominal frame...wow, 1976. I think its the coolest DG I have ever seen.

Jeff Bottema had it in storage and never mentioned it. Earlier this week he says "I have new DG, would anybody want it?" I about pooped.

My guess is he was suppossed to run it after he cut the gusset out of the proto version of this frame. Then they decided very quickly that this style of gusset wasn't strong enough or too costly to make. So the "Jeff Bottema DG1" came out almost immediately after this. He went straight too the chrome frame that is in his BMXA Interview.

This frame is the most magic frame I've ever seen. Total time capsule. The rear top tubes are tiny. It weighs nothing. Check the flat drop outs. Check the rear triangle compared the the DG2 and 3. They have the same rear as every model made going forward. The 2 and 3 even have the stepped drop outs. JPBMXFOOL's version (The only other to survive) has the double seat strut mounts. I'm pretty sure, as was Jeff, that it is the same frame as was in the catalog above.

Look for both his chrome frames, his SuperPro Frame and his Factory Murray 24" bike for sale soon. Plus lots of fun items as well like Uniforms, plates and more.

Everything from here on out is eBay bound.

I'm with EMPI - Tim's definately going to need to open an museum.

That's amazing I can only imagine it's clandestine residence before Tim found it.

Just awesome Tim!

Cool Tim...now all you need are some reproduction decals and a re-finish and that thing will be ready to build!

Incredibly cool....and in the 'right' hands.

I'll hold "1" beer for you "1" time.

That thing is unreal but for my money I'd take the cut gussett all day long. For Tim's money you just get both and don't have to worry about it! Really an incredible score.
lownslow
Awesome!!!! Congrats!

I agree it does need some repro decals
sparky

Your right, I did fall out of my chair, but I didn't spill my drink, I DRANK it on the way to the floor. That is a very cool frame, BUT I like the one's that have the sissy bar tab's just a little better.
I must make the trek to the Tim Cook museum and gift shop one of these days!!!
jjcmack
