my friend is going to be selling his hutch lil holeshot soon (yes, the one we just found), but i need to verify thats what it is first. can one of you fine knowledgable hutch folk help me to know the differences in hutch models? ie: lil holeshot, jr racer, mini racer. top tube, seatmast, bb type, etc? thanks in advance!

It's tough to comment without pics because things change between years.

Earliest Lil's have drilled brake bridge and no holes in dropouts:


In 1983 ONLY, the seatpost clamp was integrated:


Then, in 1984+, integrated clamp was gone, one hole in dropout. This pic is of a 1984 (check the specs):

The first style pictured here was made by Profile.
Second with integrated seatpost clmap is mde by Thruster (I've seen a thruster with same integrated seatpost clamp!)
After Hutch made themself.
Lil Hole Shot (first name) and the Mini Racer (later name) is the same model.

Interesting note about all of those "magnesium and/or titanium" components listed on the mini above is that every single one of those parts (except the spokes which were never a Hutch production item or sold to the public) were all part of the Titron acquisition in late 1981. The only item I don't have any details on is the hollow aluminum crank arms but I will see what I can find out.
