Did Titan ever make a titainium pro? There's a set of forks on evilbay, and the guy thinks they are Titan, but he also thinks they are a larger diameter fork leg than a mini. Could it be a Jr?

Titan did make a Junior, and I believe they did also make a few pros! But, then I am NOT an expert on anything according to my kid! BDD

I'm not sure if they were publicly available or not but there titanium Titan pro sized bikes BITD. They were big and from the area here. They did a lot of one off stuff for people on the team too.

Any ideas on how to tell if they are pro or not? The description says it has a 1" fork leg.

I've seen stuff like that around here, i have been told they were welded in San Antonio but I have yet to verify the stories

Anyway, that's Eddie Siegmund and I met with him today, he's on the cover and he thinks that's around 1985, and that at that time he thinks all they made in titanium was little bikes, the one he's sitting on is cro-mo. But he says they could have made big titanium forks later. Basically, I remember in the old school days there being one size fits all for forks, but when they started doing stuff in titanium the old days were over.

I have a Titan mini frame and fork. The forks have a 1" diameter fork leg. The steerer tube is about 4.5" long. (I measured it on the bike) My mini forks look very similiar to those pics. Hope this helps.

Thanks trickstar. I was about to go place my bid until I read that. Those are the exact dimensions he gave.
