Since I was a kid I have had a dream of finding a barn with all the BMX stuff I wanted hanging on the walls. The dream stopped when I was about 17 and resumed at 27! I still have it a couple times a years at 35. Strange but true.

Had a dream I was praticing at Rancho.
Was going slower than normal and felt squirrlier than normal. Very vivid though. Totally thought I was there.

For years, I had this recurring dream of launching off the first jump at my old local track and getting so much air and hang time that the landing could not have been good. I always woke up before I landed, but it always seemed like I was going to land on the other side of the first berm, like 100 feet away from the jump.

Giggled like a little school girl...Hmmm I won't touch that one Reilley...Hey didn't JOHN JOHNSON try hitting on a little school girl not long ago?

Yes, I have those dreams of being at a bike shop etc. usually, still a teenager and buying all the bikes/parts I've allways wanted but couldn't afford. I also stalk people on a sweet OS bmx bikes from time to time. I seriously thought I needed to seek professional help regarding this behavior. But since finding this site and reading everyone elses posts, I feel semi normal again. Plus all the entertainment and laughs has been very therapeutic. Thank you all and God bless. I haven't laughed like this in a long time.

I had a dream just the other night that I was hanging out with OZ at his place, just shootin the breeze. Funny thing was, he lived in a tree house. Go figure.

i don't dream but i get visits from some really strange people.they come over to my house and dig around in all my vintage 70's bmx stuff. they get all worked up over the littlest things, like when they find old papers and magazines, loads of boxes with photos of years gone by bmx races. they drewal on my yamaha gold cup belt buckle. they get shakey and sweat when they open a box with nos stickers. some pinch themselfs to see if its real. others take pictures to show their therapist their telling the truth. they watch video's and old movies and their eyes glaze over. after a few hours of dizzyness, the little woman feeds some of them others afeaid the eat thinking we are the crazy ones. these people are called by different names but i call these little people "curmunchkins", some day i'll catch one of them and put him in a glass jar for all of you to see.
well i got to go dust off the prototype bike section. never know when one of them will stop by.
ok momma the baits been set, fire up the big kettle the little ones are on the way.

Every now and then i have this dream of going into a local bike shop and asking if they have any older stuff layin around.the guy behind the counter is always some teenager lookin type who say theres some old stuff upstairs in storage.my dad owns the shop, but hes on vacation so you can help yourself.all i see when i go upstairs are jmc, hutch, and skyway boxes.and a box marked cranks that has a couple sets of aerospeeds in boxes.drooool.

I had a dream that I got a call form a guy telling me he heard i tiker with bikes and he has some bikes he needs to get rid of. So i go to his house and he has two garages and a yard and a basement full of bikes. Bad thing about this dream is it happend on sunday. Post pics of finds later can we say DANG

I had a dream of findin a Race Inc cruiser at a thrift store .I bought it for $50. and got home with it and was really excited. I was just about to ride it and then I woke up. Damn! I was so disappointed. Like how you feel when your just about to sleep with a hot girl and wake up. Tried to fall back asleep but couldnt. That $50. race inc is gone forever. My next build is going to be a Race inc cruiser.

I've dreamt all kinds of stuff. The most recent and damn near lucid bmx dream happened about two weeks ago.

I dreamt I was mulling around the back yard and spotted the tip of a fork leg poking up through the dirt over by the bushes. I pryed it up and noticed there was a frame attached to the forks. A big frame. I slowly pulled the whole frameset out but the sun was so bright on the chrome that I couldn't get my eyes to focus so I set it down in the shade, rubbed my eyes and when I opened them what did I see? A 26" BMX Products Monoshock frame with a crude suspension type fork. I sat there and stared at it forever, then my alarm went off. As I woke, I was still mumbling.. "gotta get the camera, the guys on vintage will never believe this..."

Last night I had a dream that I was at a big BMX race that was being held in an indoor parking garage. In staging it felt like the 70s, everyone was on a Schwinn Sting-Ray and we were all 15 years old. When the gate dropped I noticed that everyone was on a modern BMX bike except me and I was now my current age. Guys were crashing in front of me one after the next until suddenly I was in first place. My handle bars were really loose but I peddled as hard as I could to stay in front. As I crossed the finish line the crowd cheered in amazement as the announcer called out that a 43 year old just won the 15X main on a Schwinn Sting-Ray.

Bringing this thread back. I had a dream about this picture, but in my dream, I was showing the picture to my kids and the hack on the right of the legendary Rick's Bike Shop hack team of JP and Doug Takahashi was being raced by me and my pilot Mike Hardaway. Wow...getting old

I had a dream that I went to a BBQ and OZ and every well known BMXer was there.

An old one.....

I was dreaming I was at Rancho at practice time.
The second berm was muddy from the halfway point to the bottom and really rutted.
I was going really slow consideing most people over 14 would usually go over 30 mph.
I was really squirlley. Like I had only ridden a bike for a month squirlley.

I dream I'm riding thru my old neighborhood once in a while. On my old bikes of course. And when I get back to the house in my dream, my other bikes are there. Sometimes I'll do a session at a skatepark that wasn't really there. Like, right across from my old house. Strange!

Most of the time, it's late night in my dream---riding around in the dark, but somehow there's enough moonlight so I can see.

i dream about going on the internet just to find a bunch of old farts talking like 13 year olds. thing is they still are 13 years old and reilley does giggle like a little girl (even when he's not wearing his little girl dress) YES REILLEY the pretty pink one. lol

The only one I remeber after I wake up is the one with Kathy Hanna and Patty G??????? Under the big tree at south park. I Never knew MAX made girls pantys till that dream. Torker had the 1st real dream team in BMX.

Serioiusly, I had a dream last night that I was part of the Nebraska crew with Lilliethourpe, Grubbs, and Baumert. They were teaching me the Nebraska way of life and of bmx. It was a cool dream.

I wish I had a thearpist to explain this to me!
