81 Mongoose Nickel frame. The 'i wish i'd got one of those for xmas' ride. A work in progress.

Found this in pretty bad condition, but easily restored. Thanks to Waza and Stif Knackers for their help/parts in getting this together....and Bill Curtain for the awsome decals!

Now i'm looking for a Quicksilver, a bike i actually had BITD which was stolen!

Stem: Mongoose Gold Stem
Bar: No name, rechromed goose/redline copy bars
Grips: AME
Brakes: Diacompe MX 1000 brakes and Shimano lever
Tires: Kenda
Cranks: Sugino cromo one piece cranks
Pedals: Shimano DX
Seatpost: nonamer layback
Saddle: 'Freestyle'
Seat collar: nonamer again

I love the all silver look!! Well done! But i must warn you now.....This is your 1st build so there's still time to back out now.... It's all fun and games at the start, but by the sound of it(getting ready 2 do a Quicksilver) in 6 months you'll be eating 2 minute noodles just to stay alive while the rest of your pay will be going to your PayPal ac 2 pay 4 those 3 piece cranks that you just HAVE 2 GET!!!

I've had plenty of practice on 2 min noodles while i paid off expensive drum kits and Mt Bikes! But thanks for the heads up. Sounds like there's a few strung out 'gone cold turkey' collectors out there!
