Randy
I have '82 ads that show chrome, blue, red and gloss black.

In 1983 they added the smoked chrome and then in 1984 they added white and yellow.

My survivor 1983 Expert.
Yes, I've always had the LG's on there.
Its been spiffed with a new wheelset, but besides that, just like bitd.

nora cup was simply a sticker and not the model name

I guess, if you want to be obnoxious about it.
Its not just a sticker. Its recognizing winning both bike and team of the year at BMX Action.
GT's of this era are called Nora's slangily.
It described an era more than a model (could be expert, pro, xl, mini, cruiser)
I have never heard anyone get snippy about it before.

Got a bike to share?

Randy - that GT is sweet!

the blue one? gee thanks, might be a good time to sell it eh?

It's actually pretty well stripped, the wheels and a few other small peices went on other builds since I put that together a few years back.

santaanamass.,
sorry for being obnoxious..didnt mean to be
its just that i prefer gt's to be called by their proper model names,pro,expert,etc..
calling it a "gt nora cup" is same as calling it anything else the stickers say, such as a "gt santa ana","gt chromo","gt made in tawain","gt made in usa"...
plus it confuses newer members who think it really was called a nora cup.
hutch won the nora cup once and had nora cup stickers too,but i never heard of those hutches refered to as a "hutch nora cup"

the oldest gt i have now is a 1990 pro series...
but if i ever find a "gt nora cup" ill be sure to post the pics!

If we're bustin' them out....here's my 83 Pro.

Y'know, I should really look at doing a 20" GT to match the cruisers...

*sigh* it never ends, does it...LOL
