I posted one or two of these in other threads. I've been searching for a while for thes e in my parents attic & basement and finally found some.

This was at Braddock Raceway in N. Bergen NJ in '83. I hope these aren't too large.

Post crash. Check out the visor in my right hand and broken zip tie for the number plate. I'm going the wrong way there too.


I wasn't even close to being a good racer although I did win a couple of trophies in my class. I didn't have really nice bikes or equipment, but damn it was fun.

I took it to school one day for baseball practice and it was stolen. Eventually I'd like to build him another to make up for it after all these years.

I read in the paper last week or the week before that the owner of Clifton Spped Center got busted for drugs twice in a week in Passaic. It couldn't be the same people as when I was frequenting that shop. Too bad.

That sounds unfortunate (drugs)..all I can say is the 2 guys who helped me out were extremely friendly, helpful and pretty well versed in old school stuff. This is surprising as one of the 2 guys couldn't have been more than 21..22 years old.
What they did mention was the woman who answers the phone was the original owner...sold it a while back but stayed on board as an employee.

I haven't been there in years. I had good memories of hanging at that shop way back when...

I found this in the back reaches of a closet. The pants have some chain grease stains and the jersey has some wear from my racing days. But it's still in good shape. Wish i could find some pics of me racing in it.
