Hello to all who helped me out last time i asked this question. Problem is i now have a post 1985 pk. Its the one just after the straight rear chain stays. anyone know what colours they made them in? I think it was made between 1986 and 1988 - just a guess coz haros introduced the lugs for the centre pull brakes in about 1988/9 (blah blah blah thats why i'm guessing up to 1988/9) sorry about this i asked before and now i'm coming back cap in hand.
Thanks to all of you people out there. Is this a great forum or what? This really is the best website ain't it. cheers

First off, does this frame have the studs for the canti-mount brakes on the seat stay tubes? If so then it is a 94-99 frame. Like you said, the one year straight stay model (85-86 model year) used regular caliper brakes. 87-93 had the cable guides on the down tube to use a pitbull brake mounted behind the bottom bracket or a regular caliper brake up top. 94 went to canti mount brakes (990 brakes I believe they're called). as far as color, there were many. Here's a few I know for sure:
white
black
red
polished
dark blue
medium blue
yellow
red anodize (maroon)
metallic grass green
electric blue anodize
I'm sure there is more....anyone??

There may have been a dark metallic green, like a British Racing green, I believe Sundance had one BITD...

That's actually what i had in mind when I said grass green. Your description of "dark" is probably a better fit.
