DE BMXer
Randy Bowser was head of an organization? You got to be kidding me?? He showed up in DE in the 80's and tried to get every shop to give him a bike to ride in exchange for a freestyle show. Henry's bikes gave him a Quad to ride and he put on some piddly show where he bunny-hopped some little height that at least 50% of us kids (me not included) could clear. He was good at promoting himself, but not real serious to me. He sure liked to smoke . . . . . . I remember he later became an announcer for the Hutch trick team, but not a rider.

Maybe I should start a new thread on this guy. Sorry to be so off topic.

I remember Randy Bowser, he announced a freestyle contest I entered in 1986. I rode a Hutch and he was very biased tto the point of gushing owards anyone with a Hutch that day. It was embarrassing.

Mike, share your treasure find here!!!!

I must admit, I am a bit surprised that someone would take a shot at me for posting this, I mean, these pieses of paper are only worth anything to me, it isn't like I was showing all my Hutch pedals off.
Mike Welsh
byron: Huh? Someone took a shot at you? I think your "pieces of paper" are pretty cool myself. They aren't JUST "pieces of paper". Anyway, I will share some of mine and my brothers treasure that he found in our parents attic!
Mike Welsh
...that newspaper clipping is especially cool! I bet you were glad to find that Byron!..
Mike Welsh
Hey Byron:
I completely forgot about this thread and that I wanted to post some of the stuff my brother found in our parents attic since you asked me to. Otherwise I wouldn't want to rain on your parade or hijack your thread. I think the stuff you found is very cool and I understand its value to you. We got tons of cool stuff if you want to see it.

(BELOW) We have the first issue from of "BMX INNOVATIONS" from SE Racing. I would like to thank my brother Tom for sharing this with us.
NOTE: I just realized that pages 3-6 are missing. (oh well it's still cool to look at)

Cool stuff guys. 731 Swan Cove Lane... I remember that address well....
Mike Welsh
Okay so obviously I have no life at the moment. Here's a complete program(minus 2 boring pages) from a national NBA race in 1978. It's 28 pages so I guess it will take the next 5 posts on this thread. Soon I will be back to work and so you will be either happy or sad that I will not be posting so much anymore.
