not a 600c, but this is what the '85 color/decal scheme looks like. the white "rl" decal on the seat tube is extra.

600c was the cheapest all chromoly bike the year redline came out with hazard yellow, turquoise, and radberry. '85 or '86. I had one that was hazard yellow with chrome forks and rear end. Parts included Ukai shiny side rims, chromo one piece cranks, stamped steel chrome spider, dia compe brakes, chromo bars. I added forklifter bars to mine a few days after I got it.
I'm pretty sure the 600a was the tri-moly bike that year. The f+f was all one color instead of half and half. Parts were similar except it had generic rims instead of ukais, and generic brakes.
Theres a $200 bike shootout in an '86 bmx plus with the 600c, pro raider, californian (i think), and something else... cw 1500 maybe. I think the hutch won. Anybody with a mag collection have it ?
Getting that 600c was a major project for me. I HAD to have hazard yellow. It took like 8 weeks to show up.

This is a 500A. Don't know if the decal placement is the same though.
