Geoff Scofield!
Why don't you change the subject to "All Things GT Factory Riders".
You rock!
I remember you winning all the time in early 80's.
Great having you here!

I remember a segment on Swedish television in the early eighties of this GT sponsored kid going super fast. I had never seen anything like it, it was actually the first time I saw moving pictures of BMX racing. In the Sweden at this time we had two TV channels, both owned by the government and with a fondness for stuff like Hungarian puppet-shows... so seeing this was a BIG deal to me.
Anyway, the kid was Geoff Scofield and I was completely blown away! So thanks, and welcome to this place.

Geoff,
Good to see you on board. Long time no talk! Correct me if I'm wrong but I think your parents moved. Shoot me an email, wouldn't mind catching up with the family. I'll be out of town until Friday. I'll catch up with you after that.

I spent quite a bit of time talking to Geoff on the phone the other night, he is doing well and having fun with life. He still skates a lot and rides his mountain bike a bit. I don't remember the Knight Rider picture, that's a pretty funny one.
Hopefully Geoff will check back from time to time.

Geoff, Welcome to VBMX. I must say that the second photo was the most disturbing I have seen around here. At least they were not taken at Neverland Ranch right. Didnt Gary Hasselhoff attempt bmx at one time or was that the guy from CHIPS?

Geoffrey Ryan Scofield, (haven't teased you with your full name in years)
I spoke to Rich Houseman today for a bit, He told me to tell you to contact him. I gave you his email address and if you want his phone number let me know. I think he is still pretty local to you.
Any word from the parents on taking in the Lake Perris national? Regardless tell them I'm camping out at their house for a few days. Your mom always did say I always had a bedroom and a place to call home while in California. I think she might regret those words now! We'll have to play some hoop, I'm sure your dad will have Dejavoo (spelling) from that.
I'll get busy scanning some pics in for you that I have. I have a ton, it will be a funny to hear your comments from them.
Keep in touch. Tell your mom and dad that I'll give them a ring this weekend.
