No, but I have heard of sending money back to those that didn't get the item they paid for! How long must this go on?

Carlisle Aggressors, yep, I had them on my bike in the early 80's. Good tires.

Here's one on eBay that went for a few bucks. I found a couple last weekend but mine are newer, probably 1980s; they have far less stylized logos than the one in the auction.

Aggressor MX's came in any color you wanted - as long as it was black. MX-200, -300, -400 aren't nearly as desirable. pennies on the dollar compared to original MX's.

Tim knows the really _good_ Carlisle Aggressors , he must have raced with one on the front wheel as well.

Naturally you fitted a black skin wall 20 x 1.75 Comp III on the rear wheel , the tires on my # 45 bike there would have probably only had a few hours of riding on them at most. This combo of tires at the time was as good as it got for racing on dirt. Picture was taken late 1981 or early 1982.
Having the inside line & seeing the guy next to me slipping off his pedals , I know I wont this race. Looking at the handlebar position on my bike & the tear in my nylons makes me remember why I only raced on this frame for 1 meeting....

I ran those Aggressors up front alot along with Goodyear Eagles and Cheng Shins. I broke my right index finger when my front end washed out on the concrete with that tire. I just got lucky and scored one on EBAY with another Carlisle tire for 22.50 for both, can anyone use a Roadgripper 20x1 3/4 tire, NOS/mint?

I still run a Aggressor MX tire as a front tire. Man those things last forever! I have raced one for the last 23 years and it still looks pretty good.

I had one that I ran forever but it was so cracked that when I got the one I did I "retired" the old one, I still run one on the front of my Champ.

I ran one in the front at my local track. The track was fairly smooth and you can really carve through berms easily with the aggressor MX.

The Aggressor MX wasn't a very popular tire around here in the 70's.
We mostly used Cheng Shins and other similiar
large knob tires.
The nickname for the Aggressors was the "Sargent Carter" tire because the knob pattern looks like a crew cut.
Proof that they weren't very popular was apparent to me when I found a huge stash of NOS tires several years ago and there were approx. 2 dozen NOS Aggressor MX tires in the bunch. Many of those tires ended up on some of the top restorations in the museum.

My looptail Quad came with an Aggressor MX on the front. They weren't very popular, even in early 1980 when I got my Quad they were already "Old School". Skinwalls were beginning to appear, both snakebellies and Comp IIs, and the weight difference was significant. At one point I was running Bottema forks and an Aggressor and it was like trying to wheelie a tank. By the way, if anyone has a good used Aggressor MX, I would be interested. Probably looking for one to use as a rider on my Quad, but I will even consider a NOS one.

Well here is a photo that was sent. I figured out how to resize it. He said that most are aggressor but he has different ones. There are about 25 more that aren't pictured. He is getting me a inventory. All are Red and Blue but there are no Tioga's. I'll keep you posted.
