here it is as it sits exactly from the thrift store. i'll see what i can do to it for under $200.00 & keep it a simple project & will post finished project in a month or so !!!

Great find! I think the budget build idea is great - sort of like we all had to do back when we were 15 years old. Can't wait to see the pics of the finished bike.

yea, if it were 88 or older i might put a little more $$$ into it, but being its a 92 i'm gonna go semi budget !!! also, i learned yesterday that C.L.R. is officially the cheapest crap you can buy ... might as well have wiped down the bike with water .... any suggestions on a QUALITY / DOES THE JOB rust remover ??? hows that rustoleum stuff ?

use never dull to clean up the rust. it cleans and polishes without scratching finish.

I'd leave the bars set at that angle. It really looks pimp that way. LOL Cool score. Gotta love those thrift stores.
