Here's a brief 3-page history pictorial about Breithaupt/SE etc. I found it while i was flipping thru my magazines looking for suff to scan. It's from GO! september 1991.
Thought you guys might appreciate it although you probably already know everything about the SE and stuff but anyway, enjoy!

That photo makes me think of my brothers and me when we were young. We had a pool with a similar setup with a roof over part of the pool deck. We definitely thought about jumping our bikes off the roof, be we never got the guts to do it.
DR. OLD SCHOOL BMX
Is it just me or does Scot's head look like the king on the Burger King commercials? LOL.

lmfao Dr Old School!.....that was a good one!...hey, i didn't know Charles Manson knew how to jump bmx bikes into pools.......sorry Scot! Don't hate the players Scot, hate the game!....ah hahahahahahahahahahaha!!!! Scot, you were, and still are, a nut and a crazy monkey(not the sidehack kind)....you rock Scot! I'm a little confused. That article is from the early 80's, like 83. The article was actually about the new for 83 Reynolds quad if I remember, but the bike Scot is on is a looptail quad. I wonder why that GO waited till 90 to run it. I think it was originally in BMX Action.

Same photoshoot from bmx action. The loops were being phased out in favor of the reynolds quads, I guess Scot was hanging on to his personal ride. That exact frame ended up in the hands of Jeff Norton.

Man that was awesome! Thanks for sharing. This article may have saved my seatmast from cracking on my looptail floval flyer. The Uni seat is to blame for cracked seatmasts. I did not know that. The Uni comes off tonight.

Jan,83 edition of BMXA They did the write up on the new Quads and this was the photo they started the article with. I also heard that OM gave this frame to a charity auction and it was in very bad shape.
