I've always hesitated to post these pictures for various reasons, bad hair, bad uniform, dirty faces and no heads.....enjoy.

Me and Mike Wells, 1982 Michigan State finals, Waterford Mi. Took 2nd to Pat Sheridan in 17x. Probably coulda won if not for the bogus brown and yellow Bicycle Harbor gear. Note the Schlitz hat. We did the ABA summer tour that year, made a stop at the Schlitz brewery in Winston-Salem N.C.


These last two are some-what infamous with my friends back then. Both are me around 1983 jumping the backside of a berm. I remember getting great air that day but the only photos that came out are these two, without my head. Afterwords I was always prodded to do the "no-header" jump. I still hear it when we get together 25 years later.

Great pics. I started racing at Woodhaven in 79. What a great place to race and watch a race.

lmao.......those are awesome pix Randy! Nothing better than old pix man. So Randy are you an ancestor of 'The Headless Horseman'? Just curious. We might be related. I have some no-headed jump pix too. That track looks cool. That was in MI?

Way north of Muskegon....and Ludington....and a little north of Manistee. Cool pix Randy. Kaleva, the only track I ever rode where you could coast out of the gate and make it to the finish...slight downhill the whole way....

Post 'em...no head or feet. They are all cool by me.
