Whats the story on these rims? Been using Arayas and Ukais for the longest time, are they any gd? Saw a nice set in black a while back at new bike place. A few members here had build their project using them and they look sweet. Any info?

My Cook Bros has them. They appear to be a quality rim from the 1970s era. I belive they are made in northern Europe (Belgium?)

Yup I saw the word Belgium engraved on the surface of the rims. European made just like Ambrosia I guess. Holler if anybodys keen.

Belgium made rims.
Yes there was a Belgian factory who made rims, called Alesa.
They sponsored me for a couple of years.
The factory was in the Rigida group who made all rims like Weinnmann and other brands.
But today the Belgian factory is closed because financial problems.....
I've a set Weinnmann rims from 84 same design like the araya 7C and those were made by Alesa for Weinnmann.
2 years ago I've bought a similar new pair of rims like the Araya 7C, and those were made by Rigida in Holland.
Maybe they still produce those rims today.....

I've got a set for my MCS Spider build. Very red anno. They look like the Arayas with the hump 7B or 7C maybe.

Wienmann's from BITD look like 7B's, but were nowhere near as strong. Hence the rarity today...
Check out Reilly's new Redline build - he powdered a set red, they look nice.
