Ok Here's The Skoop,

Thanks to my brother, Tom Welsh, myself and Bob Sieber found this site, yet he has still not reported in! WTF Tom?! Get your butt over to my place and get my pc and take the 2 minutes to register! Tom has been checking the site religiously every day for about 2 years now. Thanks to Tom I am TOTALLY obsessed with bmx again!

My bro, Tom, was one of the best riders in San Diego. Just ask Mike Mendenhall. And the thing of it is, Tom didn't practice half as much as I did and he was better than me. He played baseball mostly. I remember after he smoked away the novice class and became an expert. He trophied in his first expert race man! I think he got second place. Sheesh! When I turned expert I went on a 6 month dry spell. My brother didn't race that often but when he did he almost always trophied. I remember when Tom had his Pedal Power stolen from a race at Los Palmas. It was in brand new condition. That totally sucked man. I felt so bad for him. That was his third bike he had stolen from him in like 2 years. So anyway, what does he do, he borrows my Scorcher and trophies without even being used to it. And he borrowed it for several other races after that and trophied in those as well. Pretty impressive if you ask me!

My brother just told me, the other day, that one time Jeter took him with him to Wheels-N-Things to meet Sandy. I never knew about that Jeter. Jeter NEVER hung out with Tom. I guess he was trying to steal him from the Mira Mesa Schwinn Team (lol). No surprise there. Tom could have been on any team if he didn't play baseball and strictly raced bmx. In baseball he was a pitcher, lefty, and even had scouts checking him out but he decided he didn't want to do that, but that's another one of many great stories about my brother Tom.

Tom has ALWAYS been there for me. I have been through many hard times and EVERY single time HE was there for me as well as my parents. THANKS SO MUCH FOR ALWAYS BEING THERE FOR ME TOM. I'M SO GLAD YOU'RE MY BROTHER. YOU'RE MY BEST FRIEND. Now get the heck over here!

Here's Tom on my Scorcher at Clairmont. His Pedal Power got stolen at Rancho. I had said earlier that it got stolen at Encinitas; however, Tom has informed me that Encinitas is actually where he spotted a local kid riding his stolen Pedal Power. We tried to catch the kid but he got away.........first picture posting by me(fingers crossed)

Tom Representing Mira Mesa Schwinn at Lakeside, I believe, on that huge berm on the backside......

...representing Bicycles Unlimited, of Mira Mesa, which is now called Black Mountain Bicycles. Bicycles Unlimited was owned and operated by Trish & Tony(forgot their last name but they are married). Trish & Tony are part owners of Black Mountain Bicycles; I believe that's what PK told me, and still help run it as well.
Anyway, this first one, racing for Bicycles Unlimited, is also Lakeside.....

....and Lakeside again.....

Here's why Tom didn't race that often.....check out the 70's orange chairs(lol), those chairs spin and have been tested many times....I made my mom keep those chairs(she has tried to throw them out many times)and she keeps them hidden in a room upstairs(bless her heart) as I plan on having them recovered some day....That's our old house at 11392 Camino Ruiz in Mira Mesa/San Diego BITD(sweet memories)...oh I'm glad that coffee table can't speak cause when my parents used to go out of town....nm(pleading the 5th now)........nice hair Tom.....

If I'm not mistaking I think that's Shawn Wimberly in the background(3 pics up) with his camera taking a picture at Lakeside. Names are starting to come back to me now.

Here's Tom today with his cool car.....thanks for all those times you let me drive that car Tom! That thing is such a blast to drive!.......still waiting to drive her again ..............
