I searched and couldn't find any posts with how to ID a 'goose. Here's the serial number: 282157. No letters in the serial number but CAC is stamped above it on the oposite side. Any help would be appreciated.

It's probaly a 1980 Motomag. I would guess that the second C is actually an 0. If it has the front gusset with the round holes in it that is probably what it is. A picture would help.
Try "Mongoose ID" or "Mongoose I.D." or just "Mongoose" for a breakdown of the IDing method.
