Its my opinion that Al's had a number of ebay user names. If you ask me 302zapper is Al Kosak although he tries to use a different name.

Amen Ray! To avoid a lot of drama, I won't make a public comment on this. However, feel free to instant message me.

Thats what I thought. I bought this frameset and a Redline 401 bolt kit from him in 2002. It never arrived and all I got was excuses and after a while no reply at all. Low and behold I was looking at Ebay Auctions and the very same frameset I paid for in full and never received is listed. Its been so long ago, that I no longer have the proper documentation, but I know enough to post what I'm posting right now.

About 3 years ago I sold him a trickstar framest. dead mint in candy red. I shipped it out promptly and assumed all was good. Well a few weeks go by and I get him emailing me saying he hasnt received the frameset and that the post office left message notes on his door (attempted delivery). He got a few of them, and I told him to contact his postoffice. He then told me that he went to the post office and they couldnt find it. Months went by and he said he gave up on the post office and gave me a guilt trip. I basically told him im sorry for you but this is between you and your post office. it was out of my hands.
Well lo and behold there he was selling it a short time later. I dont like to slam people or stir up the trouble pot but since you asked scott I figured I would clue you in on an experience of mine. Good luck and take care. Nice to see ya around here.

Well its not sounding good for his defense. I wonder what happened to Al? He was a fairly stand up guy prior to these incidents. I had done many deals with him before and all was good. Him, I, and Darren Chan fought over the Dans Auctions for years. Thats why I left it be, I really did believe the Canadian Post office lost it, and I chalked it up as a legit inevitable loss encountered in the international buying and trading game. I'm going to dig out my box of paperwork and see if I can document the transaction.

Anyone with info on Al Kosak ebay name Alumicoupe email address formerly alumicoupe@yahoo.com or this other clown James
302zapper please Email me Scott Bender ifhbiffefreet@hotmail.com I called James at his house tonite and talked to him he didn't seem that it was odd that he happened to have the exact same inventory as Al Kosak. He assured me that a candy blue Profile Xfile is a common sight in BC as well as a purple CBL frame and a S&M HASF I did find all my paypal and Ebay documentation for when I purchased the Profile unfortunately it has been a long time.

I recently 'won' a Redline decal set from 302Zapper on eBay. Now I'm wondering if it'll ever make it here. At least now I'll be 'armed' with his info.
rick
A whille back I almost bought that HAF from 302zapper outside of ebay. Glad I didn't.

I recall someone telling me that 302zapper (James?) told him he bought all Als inventory, hence the similarity in his auctions. Sounds like 302zapper has changed his story.

i think a few yrs back we were supposed to do a decal trade well i sent mine never got mine. figures... if its him under that name hes high bidder on my bandito 24" forks.. and wants my 24" frame fork and bars... ill see where it goes..

I bought a dk stem bolt kit from Al a few years ago. It was only a $20 or so transaction and everything went smoothly. The same bolt kits are still offered by 302zapper so "they" are probably the same person.

I think it's spelled Kosac with a C at the end, not K.

He was living on the West Coast near Nanaimo, BC, if i recall (so 3000 miles away from here).

I am not taking sides here but must admit that he has posted some cool items on ebay in recent months (a Zeronine NOS f&f among others).

k-lo.
I bought something from Zapper a few years back and the payment went to an Al Kosak via paypal.

Theres a bad pocket of bmx thieves in Western Canada going back 10 years plus many AKAs, lots of excuses and stories. BEWARE!!
SE Mark
I am not taking sides but I have had some deal's with James and all went well on and off of EBay. I personal know the person who bought the NOS Zeronine and it was just as stated. I also talked to him on the phone, made purchases and recieved the items as ordered. Just My 2 cents

look who the high-bidder / $ booster of this KNOWN scam auction is!

this jerk kept bidding when everyone told him it was fake...your [I tried to curse] buddy here might be a bigger [I tried to curse] than you once believed.......

AND!!!!------ he told me "i did pay for this frame and fork, and it was delivered, not the same one,but i did get it"

and the seller took SAME pics and text from this actual sale (from way before)...current owner was contacted and infact wasnt selling..

why does ebay let a swallower like this continue to rob people?

and... what a coincidence that 302zapper left postive feedback on another piece of garbage: flovalflyer223 AKA silverstreak791 AKA xtremedealzz AKA xxredhottreasuresxx AKA weddedbliss72603.......
invisibleman1
302zapper is another piece of s#!t,....check this out...

him and flovlflyer are always in cahoots...AND...he says he won that Blue JMC cruiser scam...

ya he got me 4 years ago. i bought a set of nos pro hutch pedals outside of ebay for 280.00 +15 ship ,paypal w credit card. it took 2 months to get them w/constant emailing where are they. i told him i need them because my old ridin buddy from 84 who never got out of bikes and now owned a bike shop almost gave me a set of aerospeeds. 2 days before the 2 month c/c dispute limit i disputed it then they showed up nos but alluminum spindles i think he timed it so i couldnt dispute it. i compained that i wanted chr/mo spindels and he said he would send me ti just undispute because they froze his paypal account. i did and never seen the ti spindles but considering what nos hucth pedals go for now i dont feel so bad but i did save the address on the box lid just in case im ever in cannada. so whatch out he is very crafty and likes gettin over on people.
