i just got the latest bmx plus and in the "trick stuff" section in the back is a picture and a little write up about the colored tuff II's that skyway has been making.
also says a few pros have been using them on the front of their bikes,why just the front?

Probably the same reason I read why they were ran on the front only often bitd.
From another post somewhere on here, it was explained that there were several riders co-sponsored by Skyway, that ran front Tuffs only. The reason, they didn't want to run a coaster brake, and that's all Tuffs had at that point.
I'm purely guessing that they like their *cassette* rear hub too much to give it up?
Did you see the pic of the graphite tuff with profile cassette hubs, and a disc brake? I about fell out of my chair.

... the front wheel only thing comes from the fact that alot of pros are using cassettes only on the rears, so they can use smaller gearing.
While the cassette hub is being worked on, we now have a few flip-flop rear hubs that will accommodate the smaller gearing!
