i am piecing together a bassett 26" cruiser and am considering utilizing a coaster brake. im going for red annodized rims and hubs.....whats the deal with hubs for coaster brakes? are colored annodized ones hard to find? anybody know what brands made cool ones? im going for all bmx style components on the bassett but think a coaster brake might give it a cool old style stoner cruiser feel.
i appreciate any input.

Look for a double or triple red/yellow band Bendix 2-speed kickback.

Kickbacks are cool but tough to find and harder to work on. The standard is the Bendix 76. It's a single speed and most old bikeshops will have hubs or parts laying about. You might also want an internal 3 speed coaster if you want to use the bike for cruising any distances.
