p.s. Welcome aboard Jamson!

Hi there Jamson, I was hoping you would eventually show up.

I just sent you a rather lengthy email. I've gotta run now as we are leaving for the Superbowl!

As far as the Hutch rental car goes. I remember stickering that baby up with you, Eric Carter, Chris Backus and a few others. Hutch had to pay for major body work and a new paint job. Richie Jr. had fallen asleep at the wheel the night before following my parents from one track to another. He hit the guard rail, took out the side of the car and figured screw it, let the kids have fun. The car was trashed anyway and insurance would cover the damage.

Anyway, enough talk about that. I've gotta run but welcome to the site. Your really going to like it and be suprised who you run into.

Jamson,
I forgot to mention I was going though some old stuff today and I have a bunch of pics of your dad and Brandt in Whistler for the worlds. Funny enough there is none of you and you won the race. I didn't take the pics though. Frank Gregory for whatever reason took two sets of pics and gave one to my parents.

I can scan them in and send them to you sometime. I believe your dad was on a Slingshot at the time.

Jamson is in Michigan. He's doing well & has a couple kids of his own.
Last time we talked about serious life stuff - he was attending GVSU working toward being Physical Therapist with some kind of Doctorate so he can concentrate on sports medicine.
Still rides but not so much racing. Finally saw the light and bought himself a vintage Jeep last summer

They ride different.
You can push the front left but the back still keeps going right.
Crank hard and the BB flexes - much.
Crank hard in a classic power wheelie manuver and it is kinda like a dance.
Difficult to speed jump, or manual as the kids call it, due to the stretching wheelbase thing.
Takes getting used to.

I rode for Slinshot for 2 years and loved my bikes. The only drawback was the weight, they weighed a ton compared to other 20in of that time, but i got KILLER starts with that frame flex out the gate. I wish i had one today!!
