I have a powerlite 26 inch 3 bar cruiser and really need an expert on how to id the frame as far as do i have a first year, second year, etc. Please if anyone can help id my frame. There are 3 sets of numbers on the bottom bracket and they read 0 6 37. The 0 starts at the far left, #6 is dead center and the # 37 is to the far right, so the 3 numbers are spread apart. I hope this helps you guys in identification. SCHVATTA

I don't know if you can tell the date from the SN, but I think those were made in the early 80s.

I dont know how to tell by the SN but does it have holes in the drop-outs? Does it have a flat (butterfly) brake bridge or a small round tube?
SCHVATTA
Hello again, the dropouts have no holes at all and the brake bridge is a round tube, not flat. I bought this bike back in November at our bike swap and now it's FULLY restored!!!! It had all the original parts, black anodized UNSTAMPED squared Tuff neck, Araya rims, VDC beach cruiser bars with that insane sweep, suntour clamp, chainring, etc. If it has the squared Tuff neck would that take it back to the 70's or eighties??? Just trying to grasp an estimate. Oh how the hell do you post pics on here?

to post pics.

You need to have the pictures hosted on the web, then you use the [img] tags to embed it in your post
