Welcome aboard!

While you're getting RedlineNZ's standard, I'll take a Vanilla Latte with a little cream

I agree, this place is great, and full of very helpful people.

If you haven't already, I give you about three months, before you start looking for a vintage ride to build

Brian doesn't need to learn anything, I remember the name really well and I'm pretty sure he would be one of the "Legends". Raced in the 70's/early 80's if I remember correctly.

G'day Ramo...if you need help with anything about a vintage bmx build...don't hesitate to ask. There is many people on here, from all around the world. Someone is allways able to answer a puzzleing question. Hope you enjoy your time on Vintage bmx.

All right!!!

Your name came up at a recent dinosaur get-together

Ramski is another one of the great pioneers from the early days. Blazing fast and stylish. Banged bars with Clinton, Pk among others at Yarnell, Soledad and other early/mid 70s tracks

I have some pics and some results I will post as soon as I find them. For now, here's one I made for 2K:

Only Rick would get my back on this, I just don't remember what team he raced on, I know he was fast as he!!.

You can also see Ramski's name featured on the Yamaha Gold cup section of "Joe Kid"

Cool! Brian Ramocinski is definitely an old school legend! Ramo, I don't know if you remember me or Matt Raymer from Oklahoma. We were fortunate to come out to California a few times in the formative years and race with you guys. You will love it here on Vintage. A bunch of the old gang is here and is amazing how much faster we were now that we have gotten older!!!!

A bunch of us got together a couple of weeks ago when I was in Cali, and we are getting together again on Feb. 16th when I come back to town. It would be cool if you could hang out with us that day! I will be at the Hilton in Costa Mesa area. Welcome back to BMX!!!

Yo Ramo....Un real...How are you? I remember going to WSA as a little kid and seeing you race. The early days of Peddle Power, good to see you here! Take care....

Hey, Ramocinski...How are you doing?

RAMO
Cash, I remember you guys coming out to Newhall the first time. Greg, I remember seeing this skinny little 12 year old racing at WSA...what happened to him?! Reilley, I need to make a dinosaur meeting sometime, although I see several of them at the Mammoth mountain bike races through the years. OZ, Liviing in Mammoth and doing a lot of mountainbiking (6 months out of the year anyway)....still got that racing bug going on those.

Who you callin' a dinosaur?

What's up Ramo? my folks live in Bishop (10 miles outside, on the way to lake Sabrina) so I make the trek a few times a year. my Dad thought you were in Mammoth doing real estate.

Welcome aboard!

I started racing in 78' but definately heard your name. Did you know Greg Lilly?
Got brought up again when I saw the Yamaha Gold Cup footage. All the guys posted on this page are my buds.
It's very cool to have you on Vintage. Welcome!

Yo Ramo wha's up?!
Always good to see old teammates poppin' up on the site.
For you guys who don't know, Brian Ramocinski was one of the fastest guys in the EARLY DAYS. The first time I went up to Soledad Sands I was hangin' with JP and we were watching this guy with a #100 on his plate and JP says "watch this guy, he's fast". That was a good enough endorsment for me.
Then he wins the first Yamaha Gold Cup (Expert class) at Birmingham High School (after Breithaupt got disqualified for being too old -17).
I had the privilage of being Ramo's teammate on the Dirtmaster team. I remember him being real quite when we traveled to the races, but he busted out when we got there.
The last time we hooked up was in the late '90s and we were bangin' bars racing downhill in Mammoth. I think we were drinkin' some of your home made beer as well.
Anyway, welcome to the site. Hope to hook up with you soon.
