I always wanted one of the 1st generation GHPs. They went out before I could get one. I DID get one of the 2nd generation GHPs though ..and I still have it. I got this one from Alan. He said something about Greg rode it for a few days when he came to visit....do ya think I'll ever part with it?...HECK NO...LOL

for me it has recently become an obsession for a 20" Nomura and Botema's from the early 80's.

My Holy Grail would be that 26/24 Quadangle that Scot had BITD,although I cant complain about my first Gen OM FLYER.wouldnt mine a 26/24 Nomura either.

A six bolt MCS stem annad gold. To finnish my old (76, 77???) DG I had as a kid!

wait, oc dave, are you saying there was a real quadangle 26/24 built by se? Any pics of it anywhere?

I've seen a color pic of Scot blazing down hill on one...a baby blue one I think.

I know it’s a modest Grail but it’s the reason I want to get back into this. Ramon…do you know what parts came stock on an 84 Diamond Back Viper? I remember I added the Uni Seat and Z-rims but beyond that I think everything else was stock. Thanks

My Skyway T/A that I've owned since new.
Other than that, Kuwahara KZ-1. The ads of the chrome and blue one in BMXA had me drooling, "When the competition's rough...Kuwahara." I thought it was the best bike in the world. So after I got this BMX bug and got close to restoring my Skyway, I picked up a KZ1. Along with that a Lazerlite and a 24. Slowly putting together all 3.

Wow, I sure would love to see that pic of the 26/24 quad. I wonder where that f/f is? Some nice grails here.

Ok Osamas, here's the pictures of my first two grails...

I wanted a 1982 GT24, which I started hunting for on this site, which is what I raced bitd. Since building this, I found the 1981 GT26 (I bought it from Ginny, it used to be her bike). After all that, I found out where my old 1982 GT 24 is. Its in a sad shape, but I hope to have it back this year.

OH mcam.. dont do that to me.. those GT's just stpped my heart from beating.. WOW!!

There are two guys on this site who know my holy grail- Randy and DaddyGoose.

If I had the money I would be posting pics of them completed rather than settling for a desktop image of D/Gs example mocking me every time I turn the computer on.

here's one...

about a year before I quit racing I first saw one of these at the indoor track in Michigan where I would race in the winter. It blew me away....the color, the look, ....it was THE bike I wanted. Sadly, I never got it. It was very expensive and racing ended for me a year later.

I always wanted an ELF. I never knew anyone who had anything other than a mini, but there was something mysterious about them. parts list would go something like this:

Dk pro stem, forklifter bars, flight cranks w/ sealed flight BB, Perigrine HP 48`s w/ large flange hubs, was never too picky about seats,odessy drain pipe seat post, Hutch Donut seat clamp, pitbulls, hutch pedals. And it would HAVE to have a chrome/blue color scheme with some blue barefoot tires.
