I can get older than that, Andalucia, Castle view, & Reservation raceway. LBS's Road Runner, Pedalers corner, Landis @ Indian school & 47th ave, Glendale schwinn
Dash Riprock
I first raced at Roadrunner park, and Chandler and Black Mountain out on 7th street and deer valley which is still operating. I have some old photos of Roadrunner I think. This would have been 80-83 I believe. I was racing my Rampar, mongoose, and GT. I still have my ABA district sticker and number. I got (bought) everything from Sun Cyclery.

I raced at the one off of Grand ave. I only raced it once. I don't remember the name since I haven't lived in Phoenix for 10 years. Me and my friends would go to Golden Spoke bike shop in Glendale everyday.

Which one? Huachuca City, Whetstone, Palominas or Herford? Worked down there for years. Not much a of a riding scene then except a few guys from Ft. Huachuca.

THRASHERLAND... El Mirage and Glendale. 90's

Coppertown BMX.... Florence..I think 90's? I loved that place. Had a tunnel Like Black Mountain back in the day but it was right in the first straight and it was HUGE.

Holbrook BMX.... Went there for a state qualifier in the mid 90's.... OLD SCHOOL.. Manual Gate and Ruts from dirt bikes throughout the entire track.

I am oldschool but not originally from AZ. Raced at the new Manzanita in Tucson in the mid 90's. I do remeber Thrasherland on Glendale and the short lived Air Sarival. Now I occasional show up at Estrella.

My friend and old time bmxer, Lon Ayers is out at Chandler all the time doing his Avg Joes Bicycles sells and watching his son race. He always keeps me posted when some of the old timers come out. Fred Hightower was out on a bike with Troy Robinson in the last month or two. Last week, Mr. Bartley came out to watch his grandson race. This weekend is the state race at Chandler, I am sure Bartley will be there again.

I looked through my many pictures and came up with 3 shots from Arizona. I am pretty sure all 3 are at Chandler. Maybe some of you guys might know some of the other people in the photos. These first 2 are from 76.

This one is also Arizona, I believe Chandler again. This is from 79 while I was on Redline.

Manzanita, Sportspark, the short lived NBL track at the fairgrounds in Tucson, Black Mountain, Chandler and the old Scottsdale track (I think it was Westworld..can't recall though). I moved to Tucson in '79 and I remember the track at Randolph vaguely. There was also old remnants of a track at Pantano Park (now Jesse Owens) in Tucson we rode in the early 80's.

omarcruisers, I grew up in Hereford AZ and went to to Palominas Elementary School. The track I used to ride in Sierra Vista was only open for a short while off of highway 90 (North of Fry Blvd). It was orginally sponsered by Sun & Spokes out of Sierra Vista. Myself and 4 others from the Hereford area created our own BMX team (so to speak). We had shirts made that said "Hereford Racers" which of course we all wore on race day! Sounds lame now, but it was sweet when I was 11!

I noticed you are West of Phx. I'm in Youngtown. Do you ride much anymore?

to John. PR goes a long-way....

does anyone remember a track on union hills and 52 in the early 70s? I raced there when i was like five or something with work boots on and all. my sister raced the powder puff class. I think a good ole flag start two lap rough track race would be fun.
