I've been thinking about buying a set of Fly Pantera "V" bars for an old school ride. Modern geometry but with an old school look.
Anyone here currently using them or have any opinions on them?
Here's what they look like:

Revcore, I considered getting some myself but after holding them....they are a bit narrow. I like the look though.

I think they look cool.

I sure had a double take, when I first saw them.

They take you back.

The proof of coolness is in that picture FreeEnterprise.
Very cool indeed.

I sort of got hooked on GT Pro bars & DX pedals when I was 13 or so _but_ if they made V bars with the same width , lift & sweep as GT Pro Bars I'd use them.
I got a stack of NOS old skool V bar pads to fit onto them

those bars rock, man.
the V makes the bars have a little give on hard landings, taking out some of the shock.
actually has a fuction, not just old school appeal.
check out the Rob Scerbo bars by animal.
they are 4 piece and just like mid 90's GT bars but light and with modern geometry.
