I dug through a bunch of old posts, but none have answered this question for me about this decal :

(IMG:http://farm1.static.flickr.com/147/410883013_b3b1055301_o.jpg)

I have some Powerlite Bars - the newer ones with the big yellow P on them - and i just got this decal recently, but have no idea what the PLACEMENT was of this decal on these bars... I wanna say that it was either on the middle of the crossbar, is that correct?

Was it even used?

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Does Powerlight make bent bars? I thought that was some other bars. Placement seems like should be on the side, wouldn't be seen on crossbar with pad.

I don't know. Like many around here I have some decent Powerbends and wonder what era, sticker type, and placement would be for them.

I've never even SEEN that decal before. I'm wondering if it's actually a numberplate or helmet stickie or something. Sorry I couldn't help, but that's a really cool decal.

I have never seen that decal on a set of bars. The colors and style look mid-school to me. Maybee try putting this up in the mid-school section and see what that gets you.

Thanks for all the input, guys.
i've had really old Powerlite bars as well as the later years & never saw this sticker anywhere either.
I don't even know where it came from originally...found it in my shoebox full of vintage BMX stickers in an envelope with the yello "P" decal that made it on the 90's versions.

Either way, it's a cool stiker - whatevr the hell it is!

i havnt ever seen a "powerbend" decal before.
im not aware of powerlite ever putting a decal like that on their powerbend bars...

maybe that sticker is from something completely different and in no relation to anything in the bicycle industry... just a thought...
