Eddie Fiola was/is my favorite rider, and I always thought he had the coolest looking bikes. Being a GT guy, I guess I'm biased. I was thinking of building a PP or PWT similar to one of his, so when RL 20II Guy put his Fiola Rad replica up, I bought it. I made a few changes to it though, starting with new Tuffs (was going for a mag bike this time), NOS white GT tires, NOS DiaCompe MX900's, a Shotgun II seat, NOS Grafight 2000's, a different GT block (also from RL 20II Guy) and new cables. I think that's pretty much it. I took it for it's first ride today and got a few pics. It looks great on the wall next to the all black 87 PFT. Now I've just got to get a GT banner or something to put behind them.

Oh, and if anyone has a white front Tech 3 lever, let me know, I've got the rear and would like to get some white levers on this one.

Awesome bike. It must have been fun to be Eddie in the '80s, with a garage full of GT stuff to bolt together however he wanted, without worrying whether or not to violate a part's NOS-ness. Kinda like what everyone did back then, but he didn't have to save his allowance to buy parts!
