It's my old Performer. It's at least an 86 or older. I sold it to my buddy that still has it and we were both curious what year it is.
White with single bend in downtube(at top of tube)
Serial # on Bottom bracket
G5P0067 - or G5F0067 (His eyes are getting bad and can't tell if it's a P or an F)

I believe in 86 they started doing 4 holes in the rear dropouts no?

what are the odds of this ??

so I'm doing some searches trying to find out some info on a Performer my wife picked up for me last week, and I find this old thread with my s# posted, and it looks like I inherited Steves old GT...(IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Steve, any old pics of the GT ?

is this a Jap frame, I read somewere else that they had a baseball symbol ?

some, but not all had that symbol.

I can also tell you that the baseball serial #'s were all on the inside of the non-drive dropout. The serial listed in this thread would be on the bottom of the bottom bracket shell.

I have one of both. Both Japan versions.

Incidentally, the US built versions are on the top of the non-drive dropout on the outside.
