GT Performer ID Options

I know, I need to post a pic but I've still got to go to Photobucket.
Here are the 'vitals'
90 or so Performer. F/and threaded F. Chrome serial#YC94062031
GT stem(looks like a Hutch style)
GT bars
GT seatclamp
GT layback seatpost
GT chainwheel
GT mags
GT tires (worn & dryrotted)
Pitbull rear brakes (nothing in the front)
1 piece cranks
and what look like Crupi-style pedals with no markings.
From what I can tell, this bike is pretty clean and wasn't beat at all. Is it IDable from just the serial# or do I have to post a pic?

if it was made in usa the serial would be real easy to id.
but thats an over seas serial, so it would be easier to post a pic.

that's a taiwan serial. depending on who/when the frame was made, reading the number could be either:

the "9" is the last number of the year made, making it a 1989. (if this is the case, it could likely be a 1990 year-model)

or...the "94" is the year, making it a 1994.

Thanks, tozovr , I'll do that asap. My guess would be an 89/90 because it has caliper brakes.

I'm no expert but I believe the 94 refers to the year, as in 1994.

I had a 97 Performer and it began with yc97 and just this week I looked at a 98 Dyno and it begins yc98 so...

I need to ID the year of a frame with the follow serial, KG1H0402, it has the bat and baseball so based on the info I read on this site, the frame was made oversees. I still need to ID the year?
