I went out there today for their all-day Sunday practice. About a hundred or so riders came out, and the track is looking better and smoother every time I go there. They will be holding all day Sunday practices (weather permitting) up through the weekend before the Cup. Check their FB page for details -- they have a new page, now -- it's a fan page, not one you have to 'friend.'

Taken from the announcer's tower behind the first turn.

Taken from the starter's booth.

Insanely long pic from the third turn, through the 4th, and down the last straight...Iphone's panorama feature is pretty neat.

I asked about that this past weekend and they don't know yet--it will depend on if there is still work to be done before Friday's national. They said they'd put it out on their FB page when they know for sure.

I always like manualing the first jump. Most AA manual. The studs pull manual it.

Will ORL ever asphalt their turns

Hope all have a good time and that it turns out to be a hell of a race. The Stoddards will not be going this year or to the Grand's. It looks my days of travel are done on the USABMX National trail. Good luck to all and I hope next year brings better things.

If things go as planned, we will be making the drive down. I really like the track. Should be a decent turnout. Looking forward to it.

Things you dont talk abouit on line. Do not know if we will even make the local's up here in Jax any more. As of right now she and I are done with the BMX, National, State, Red line stuff. Lets just say, her and I have a lot on our plates to do and take care of. Will miss the freinds we have made over the last 4 years.
