Maybe post a picture. Serial numbers don't necessarily guarantee anything.

Where is the serial number located ?

What finish is the frame ?

Nickle, chrome, paint ?

That's a low serial number and would be worth keeping original but pics and the above info would help.

Wow. Looks like a Proline. 77/78 based on SN probably.

Although it's dusty, it's gorgeous. Just clean it up, put on new soft goods. Tires and grips. It will be awesome.

Yeah clean it up but don't change it. I had a '79 and my SN# was 5 digits so yours is probably earlier.

Would the following items be considered period correct?

1) http://www.ebay.com/itm/NOS-Red-Ofmega-Ped...=item416a20a2db

If so, would this be considered a decent price? If anybody know where I could get sod red Ed reedys, I would be very interested

2) http://www.ebay.com/itm/NOS-NEW-AME-AME-RE...=item519b03f627

3) http://www.ebay.com/itm/NOS-VINTAGE-20-X1-...=item51a1882324

4). http://www.ebay.com/itm/WS-old-school-BMX-...=item416a4094ea

Please let me know your thought. Ty. Craig

Above, when I say period correct, I am referring to the vintage redline proline pictured above. Also, given the picture, do you think I would need 9/16 pedals?

Thanks again for any help you may be able to provide. I am not a BMX expert, but rather someone trying to properly put my childhood bike back together properly!

9/16 are correct for 3pcs. cranks
