Anyone else care to share a before pic? They're not required, but I think one of the coolest parts of a build off is seeing a single before pic followed by an after. I'm predicting we'll see 40 BMX bikes saved and brought back from the dead.

Hi all

Just started consolidating the parts for the Hutch build in the dining room. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Shown below is the bike we're giving away - a Pro Racer (1984 I think) frame/fork/bars that have fresh chrome and new decals. We're using red as the main accent color. Hutch BMX has provided the Kashimax/Hutch seat, padset, Aerospeed crank arms, power disc, deep "H" stem, and bear cage pedals. Bullseye is sending us the hubs. The rest will come from both Porkchop BMX (both our stock and some OG items).

I'll use this thread to chronicle this build and the two other Pro Racers we're building inhouse for ourselves.

As a reminder, submitting a complete bike (that follows the rules in the first post) enters you to win this bike which will have a value in the $2500-$3000 range. Our hope is that it will be an incentive for lots of folks to participate (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Man, I just finished an awesome little CW. Would have been cool to enter, but I've had it going all this year, so no on that one.

I could probably get this Haro and maybe 1 other done in time. I threw these parts on it for a mock-up for the photos, but it's just sitting as a frame and fork right now. I'll be for sure using the bars and rear brakes, we'll see about the rest though.
