A little background on my build. I bought this bike new in 1989 IIRC, just dug it out of my parents shed a few weeks ago and am gonna fix it up. there is a lot of rust coming through the chrome on the back side of the frame, seatpost was rusted really bad and did not survive being removed, wheels are in really rought shape too
On those, I would try to get someone to get them bent back as straight (or like original) as normal. WOuld you happen to have any better picts of that stem that was on that bike? Maybe 3 picts from different angle if possible.

yes, canadian model bike.. I think in the states it was called a freestyler or somethign like that. It was a really fun bike, I'm pretty excited to ride it again
To the guy with bent forks, try taking it to an autobody shop or a metal fab/welding shop. They can probably heat it up with oxy/ace torch and get it straightened out

Need even more incentive to put your best foot forward in this build off?
The 3 winners will each get their own month in the 2013 Porkchop BMX calendar. The Hutch we're giving away will also get its own month (hopefully with the new owner standing next to it). The Skyway 24XL we'll be giving away in the upcoming cruiser build off will also get a month. The remaining 7 months are undecided but will most likely be my favorites in this build off beyond the winners who place 1st, 2nd and 3rd. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
We did a calendar for the first time last year - we have a couple dozen copies left on our website for a clearance price of only $2.99 if you want to see what a great job John Lee did designing last year's version: http://www.porkchopbmx.com/2012-Porkchop-B...hopCalendar.htm
