That track is crazy.... We could use more hip jumps in BMX.

Wow! Look how big that double is in the mens 3rd straight! Looks like they jump 85 feet!

Correct...not a current shot. Berm jump in first straight gone, box jump gone...and the hill is in place.

I'll try to find a current aerial shot.

Cool thread though...will be good for discussion on the track between now and Aug 10.

yeah be interesting to see how similar to papendal it is
From sneaky shots in the S bend its just one "hip" jump and a small double before the big step up
Be interesting to see more shots of the small corner double/rollers and how that goes/flows

I sort of take my hat off for the initial design of the berm jump which enabled both riders 9male/female) to have there own berm
Often those first berms which split don't really work for the challenge/ladies side as they open up too much
So having a berm each i thought was pretty cool, but realty was it did not fully work
I think the girls first straight was off too as they had to move over so much
I hope to see in the future they try and do a berm each in the first straight, maybe tackling the problem another way.

Massive track nevertheless can't beleive how long it is - fitness is a huge factor on this beast for sure.

Be cool to see more phots
