Well, the turns anyway. Just posted a Top Story tidbit talking about the treatment Tom Ritz and his crew are putting on the turns for next week's UCI BMX Supercross stop in Randaberg, Norway.

How do you feel about the brick-paved workup? Come back and discuss.

Best,

M

Old habits die hard, they still love brick paver streets too. Maybe it has something to do with being green and all the nasty green house gasses that asphault processing creates? It would be cool to find out why they chose cobles

This is a temporary build, just for the weekend. Normally such turns would just be dirt, but I think they decided on the bricks to give it that "local" flavor. I heard local families came to the stadium to help lay down the brick, one by one.

Anxious to see them ride on it!

Best,

M

is it just me or does thaat corner seem to be very "open" seeing the start ramp in the background assuming coming in from the left and exiting down the bottom of the pick.
thats a lot of room and the berm seems to be a long way from the apex.
could be some mean passing going on.
Or it could just be the pic angle

That's the second turn, of course...and yes, it is very "deep," which is cool and could definitely bring some awesome moves.
