If you search this forum you'll find an old thread about Brand X. Brand X was around from roughly 92'-00'. They made some very high-end, tricked out aluminum & Ti stuff. I ran both Cro-mo & Ti bladed forks. I believe the end came when they got sued & lost. You could still buy stuff from Dans till about early 01' when they finally sold all the inventory they had. Their stems & forks were & are still some of the most killer things ever produced.

Never knew that it was a legal matter that made them close down. I just assumed that sales dropped off, or something like that. I am wishing i bought some of their gear back in the day. I also am a fan of there forks, stem and the bars. Was the guy that started Brand X, was he some sort of aero space engineer? i remember someone saying back in the day where they believed he was or worked for NASA. Is this true?
